“I ended up at Southern Hearts when Dr. Monica at Goods Hands passed away in 2016. I called up there to make an appointment and they put me with Dr. Cox then Dr. Cox left to open her own practice which, of course they didn’t tell me at Good Hands. We actually had to hunt and find out where Dr. Cox was and found out that she had opened her own practice in Watkinsville. My little guy received care from 2016 to 2023. He had Cushing’s disease which was a really complicated disease to understand it was very stressful needless to say. My little guy always received good care. But I also received good care as well. My little guy’s sickness and eventual passing did not bring out the best in me. Dr. Cox and the whole team were very professional and caring and loving when I wasn’t always giving that in return. I’m not sure what the future is going to hold for me as far as dog ownership, but I would definitely go back and would recommend any of the doctors there to family and friends.”

“Southern Hearts Animal Hospital is one of the most very caring animal hospitals and I think they’re just fantastic. The veterinarians show true concern and care, and for that I am most grateful. ❤️ I’ve taken animals to Dr. Mandy and Dr. Allie and I find both doctors very capable, understanding and caring.”

“I love Dr. Vavlas. She shows so much care and consideration for my two senior dogs. I feel like she treats them as if they were her own. The vet techs and staff are also all amazing!”

“Dr. Cox got down on the floor with my dog. She’s the first vet that I’ve ever seen that does that! I didn’t feel rushed and she answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!”
